Airlines Serving Seattle

The Seattle-Tacoma Airport (SEA) is served by many airlines. Seattle is the Alaska Airlines hub, so they have the most flights and often best prices direct from the Alaska Airlines website.

Driving from Seattle-Tacoma Airport to Roslyn

The drive to Roslyn is about 90 miles and 1-1/2 hours. Follow the signs "To Freeways". Take Interstate 405 North, then Interstate 90 East. Get off on the Roslyn exit #80 and follow the signs to Roslyn and the Moosefest base. You can print detailed maps and driving directions here.

Shuttle from Seattle-Tacoma Airport and Downtown Seattle

There is also a shuttle service that runs five times daily between Sea-Tac Airport, Seattle Amtrak station, and the Cle Elum Shell Station (across the street from the Timber Lodge Inn and Cowboy Inn). Most of the lodging is in Cle Elum, which is three miles from Roslyn. There is not any taxi service in the Cle Elum or Roslyn area. However, since most people rent cars and stay in Cle Elum, Moosefest will help you arrange rides with other guests.

Train to Seattle

Amtrak has routes from the North (Vancouver, British Columbia) and South (Los Angeles, California) to Seattle.

Train to Wenatchee

You can also take the Amtrak Empire Builder from the East (Chicago, across Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho and Washington) to Wenatchee. From there, you can rent a car at the Pangborn Field Airport (EAT) from either Hertz or Budget. The drive from Wenatchee to Roslyn is about 75 miles and 1-1/2 hours.
